Welcome to the annual conference of the Swedish Platform for Global SRHR Issues, organised by Sida, RFSU and SIGHT in collaboration with the platform reference group.
The conference serves to inspire cross-sectorial contacts and enthusiasm for collective action around global SRHR issues, as well as to build capacity among participants.
Opening remarks will be given by Per Olsson Fridh, Minister for International Development Cooperation, followed by updates on Sweden’s global SRHR priorities, COVID-19 effects on SRHR, the World Value Survey on SRHR, and more, jointly prepared by researchers, civil society, government offices and authorities. In depth knowledge will be further shared by the platforms sub-groups on SRHR in Universal Health Coverage, Gender Based Violence and Safe Abortions. Networking opportunities will be given throughout the conference.

- Access to safe abortion- including study on safe abortion and Covid-19
- End session: Expert panel - looking forward. Panelists include Hans Linde, President of RFSU, Elin Larsson, PhD, associate professor at Karolinska Institute (TBD)
