E-learning on Gender Equality and Prevention of SEAH

E-LEARNING
Welcome to Sida’s e-learning courses on gender equality and Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (SEAH) for partner organisations. As one of the main thematic priorities for Swedish development cooperation, a gender equality perspective shall permeate all Sida’s work.

These modules will provide you with a better understanding of what gender equality is, why it is important and how to integrate it in contribution management. You will also learn how Sida works with partner organisations to promote gender equality. The module on gender equality in contribution management gives specific insights on how to assess a proposal from a gender perspective.

Sweden has a zero-tolerance towards SEAH, and a separate module is therefore available on what it is, and how to prevent and respond to it in develop cooperation and humanitarian assistance.

The last two modules are developed for Sida staff and Swedish Embassies, but we welcome external partners to use if for capacity building.

The e-learning consists of:

  1. Introductory Quiz to Gender Equallity
  2. Introduction to Gender Equality
  3. How Sida works with Gender Equality
  4. Gender Equality in Contribution Management
  5. Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (SEAH) in development and humanitarian assistance
